Join us Friday, April 24th for the LACONI Youth Services Section meeting: Tried and True Programming at the 95th Street Library in Naperville. Draw new children into your library and keep them coming back with innovative program ideas that are kid tested, librarian approved. See what librarians around Illinois are doing with programs for kindergarten through sixth graders to get them excited about learning and the library, with a focus on non-fiction programs in science, the arts, social studies, and more. Your $25 registration fee pays for a continental breakfast, full lunch, and a day of programming fun.

The Youth Services Section of the Library Administrators Conference of Northern Illinois (LACONI) is holding their next program on Friday, April 25 at the Des Plaines Public Library.
The topic for the day is Serving Our Littlest Patrons. The program runs from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. The morning is focused on programming for young children and the afternoon will feature specialized product demonstrations. The cost is $25.00, which includes continental breakfast, lunch, and the fee for the program.

A fun and informative seminar offered for those in the Greater Chicagoland area on Friday, February 22 at the Tinley Park Public Library.
“Gaming at YOUR Library” program offered by the Youth Services Section of LACONI, will include a morning panel discussion and an afternoon of demonstration & play on the games themselves. Lunch included in $25 fee.
